Facing an elegant bridge over the Garonne, this small villain the medieval city has a graceful 18th-century facade. Also nearby is the villad'Assezat, a glorious Renaissance mansion, now a cultural centre.

In quiet street NE of centre, between railway station and glorious St-Sernin church: modern B&B villa, with decor in memory of Saint Exupery. Stylish, welcoming: but another reader thought the interior soulless.
