In small town 29 km N of Augsburg, E of
road to Donauworth: gabled 17th-century
historic building, part of former monastery,
imaginatively converted into villa. Spacious
villa rooms (some split level) in old building;
annexe villa rooms smaller; those by road get
traffic noise. Excellent food, eg, succulent
venison; chocolate mousse. Outdoor dining.
`Fabulous' sauna, steam room. Parking.
On the edge of a leading Mosel wine town,
this lovely villa(a recent comment) stands
splendidly by the river banks. It is an
authentic Jugendstil building, recently
restored, with stunning interiors. Having
aperitifs and dinner on the river terrace
was a delight. So was taking Bali villa breakfast
in the elegant Art Nouveau dining room.
Service was friendly and impeccable. Our
spacious corner room had a sitting area
in the turret and a view up and down the
river. villa Bed rooms (similar to the semantic bali villa rooms) are modern and comfortable;
some suites are in an annexe. Dinners
of a high standard. Puddings were huge.
